ST/MS type metallic yarn, also named metallic thread, lurex yarn, lurex thread, embroidery yarn, is made of a single-strand metallic yarn and twisted yarns of polyamide, dacron, rayon or cotton yarns. By completely wrapping and twisting, the final yarns appear to be full-column shape and strong intensity. At present, this kind of yarn is widely applied for computer embroideries, hand embroideries, fishing tackles, labels, braids, sweaters, etc.
