K-II bulletproof helmet is the first generation
non-metallic bulletproof helmet for the army. It consists
of shell, suspending system and helmet cover. Its total
weight is less than 1500g. The shell is moulded by aramid
fabric and can effectively protect the penetration of
TYPE51 7.62mm lead core bullet shooting from TYPE54 pistols
and 9mm Para FMJ shooting from Uzi 9mm assault rifle. It
also can protect the 17 grain simulating fragments. V50
exceeds 610m/s (according to standard MIL-STD-662E).
