YK-1098 is a statically hindered phenolic antioxidant and provides excellent extraction resistance, low volatility and outstanding thermal stability. It is mainly used in polyamide resin such as nylon6 and nylon66. It has well compatibility, non-discoloring, non-staining and resistance to extraction. The product is superior to antioxidant 1010 in antioxidant ability and thermal-stability for polyamide resin. It is also effective in various polymers, which are sensitive to thermo-oxidative degradation such as polyolefin, polyacetals, polyester as well as rubbers.
