    retardant used in the world today, has triple functions
    in flame retarding, smoke suppressing and filling.

11. Mechanism of Action:
    . Aluminum hydroxide decomposes into 66% aluminum and
      34% water on heating at 200 ¢J.
    . It's an irreversible endothermic reaction that
      absorbs a mass quantity of heat from surrounding air
      and reduce the temperature of burning materials.
    . The released water during decomposition acts as a
      refrigerant and thinner.
    . Simultaneously the aluminum derived from
      decomposition, has a considerable surface area to
      absorb smoke and combustibles, prevent organic
      substance from contact with oxygen and decrease the
      amount of CO2 emitted during burning.

    . Micro-particle Grade: from 1 to 2um
    . Fine-particle Grade: from 5 to 20um
    . Coarse-particle Grade: from 25 to 90um
13. Application:
    . It's used as flame retarding filler and smoke
      suppressant in polymers which do not require
      processing temperatures above 200 ¢J.
    . It can be used alone or with other flame retardants.
    . It's widely used in wire and cable, insulating
      instrument, plastic, rubber, glass fiber reinforced
      plastic, artificial stone, paint, coating etc.
    . Safety and Toxicity: it's innocuous, security
      measures should be taken owing to that the powder is
      very thin.
