Disclaimer

1. Under this disclaimer, the "Viewer" means the one who uses any kind of browsers to view webpages of TTNET, and the "Poster" means the one who uses the free webpages provided by TTNET to upload by itself any kind of advertisement about its products. Both Viewer and Poster shall include natural persons, corporations, or other entities which are given, or are recognized as having, legal personality by any law of any country or territory.
   
   
2. The Viewer has already fully understood and agreed that TTNET only provides searchable trade information and that TTNET does not directly provide products concerning any of such trade information, and therefore does not guarantee the legality of the products.
   
   
3. The Viewer has already fully understood and agreed that TTNET merely provides free web pages for the Poster to upload by itself the information of the desired advertisements, products, contents and company profile. The Poster shall be solely liable for the legality of the content of the advertisement and product. Although TTNET has already requested the Poster to warrant that the content of the advertisement uploaded by the Poster shall never encroach on patent, copyright and other rights of any third party nor violate any laws, including but not limited to, Fair Trade Law, Consumer Protection Act, etc., in case the content or product of the posted advertisement violates any law or encroaches on rights and interests of any third party, the Poster shall assume all legal responsibilities so incurred.
   
   
4. The Viewer agrees that when it detects any infringement while browsing TTNET, it shall notify TTNET immediately with appropriate proof. In order to protect the rights of the proprietor, TTNET will make its best efforts to terminate the posting of the claimed infringing advertisement within a reasonable time, after being given the above mentioned notice from the proprietor. Even if the above mentioned proof or notice is missing, TTNET will make its best efforts to terminate the posting of the advertisement, in case TTNET determines that the content of the advertisement or product is in violation of any law, public order, good custom, or is infringing on any third party right and interests, or TTNET receives any notice and evidence claiming the same from any third party or government.
   
   
5. This Disclaimer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Republic of China. The Viewer agrees that all disputes and controversies arising from this Disclaimer shall be subject to file jurisdiction of Taiwan Taipei District Court for the first instance.
   

Intellectual Property Rights Notice

1. All copyrights and other intellectual property rights of content on this TTNET Web Site (URL : http://www.ttnet.net, hereinafter referred to as "TTNET site"), except the pictures and other related product information uploaded by others in the area for uploading, including but not limited to the design of web pages, trademarks, service marks or methods of data searching, are reserved by Transworld Information Corp. (hereinafter referred to as "T.I.C."). All rights said above are protected under Copyright Law and other laws concerning intellectual property rights of Republic of China and international treaties.
   
   In case any user of TTNET Site (hereinafter referred to as "User") has any question on the identity of the proprietor of any intellectual property right , it shall contact T.I.C. in advance at : services@mail.ttnet.net.
   
   
2. Without permission of T.I.C. or the proprietor, the User shall never use any content of TTNET Site in any manner, nor shall it have any of such content stored on any publication, web site, or any searchable system or the like.
   
   T.I.C. agrees that the User, only for purposes other than commercial use, may download and print out all or any part of the content on TTNET Site.
   
   
3. "in any manner" set forth in Article 2 includes but not limited to the means of written forms, electronics, mechanics, audio recording, video recording or otherwise.
   
   "use" specified in Article 2 includes but not limited to reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, exhibition, performance, publication, authorization, creation of derivative works, assignment, sale or otherwise.
   
   
4. T.I.C. agrees that the User may only create a hyperlink to TTNET Site in text form, for purposes other than commercial use, such as browsing, searching, etc. However, in case the User would like to create a hyperlink to TTNET Site in graphic form, or would like to create any kind of hyperlinks for purpose of commercial use, it shall notify T.I.C. in advance for approval.

5. The User agrees that all disputes or controversies, arising from this notice or related intellectual property rights of T.I.C., shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of China, and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Taiwan Taipei District Court for the first instance.

   TTNET gathers information through the process of registration, through promotional events, or by using analytical software which analyzes the information of all users.
   
   Usage
   
   In order to provide better services, TTNET may conduct inner researches on the number, preferences and behaviors of users, based on the information gathered in accordance with 2.1. The inner researches conducted by TTNET are to arrange and analyze the information of all users. TTNET will never analyze the information of any individual user, nor will it disclose the same to any third party.
   
   Exceptions
   
   If any one of the following occurs, for purposes of maintenance, management, improvement or otherwise, TTNET may disclose user's information to third party, so that TTNET can determine user's identity, contact user directly, or proceed necessary legal actions:
   • the purpose and manner of disclosure is explicitly agreed by the user in advance;
   • the user violates the rules of using TTNET, including but not limited to "Agreement on Free Posting in TTNET Database" and "Intellectual Property Rights Notice";
   • the user will possibly cause damage to TTNET's web site, any other user or any third party, either negligently or intentionally;
   • the disclosure is required by law; or
   • TTNET reasonably believes that disclosure is permitted by law.

Web-Based Transactions Security

TTnet service make use of login accounts complete with ID and Password. In additional, Secure Sockets Layer("SSL") is deployed so that transmissions of sensitive password and trading data occur using encrypted and secure communication channels to prevent eavesdropping and decoding of information.

Transaction information, such as ID, password, contact details and inquiry, can only be read by authorized TTnet if you choose to use our SSL mode.
